What stays in your browser
The library code sets no cookies. These preferences and trial diagnostics stay on your device; they are not sent to us. Local storage lasts until you clear it; session storage normally lasts for the tab session.
taste-library-themelocalStorage- Your light or dark theme preference.
taste-library-savedlocalStorage- The ids of Skills you bookmark.
taste-library-bannersessionStorage- Whether you dismissed the announcement in this tab session.
taste-thumbnail-motion-pausedsessionStorage- Whether you paused the thumbnail recordings in this tab session.
collected-launch-pilot-v1sessionStorage- A random local trial id and up to 200 launch-kit activity events with timestamps. It excludes your brief fields and feedback answers.
The launch-kit brief and feedback are assembled in browser memory. They leave your device only when you choose to share an exported file. “Clear local trial data” resets the trial record and feedback form. You can also clear all site data in your browser settings. If storage is blocked, the library uses memory for the current visit.
